Mission
Prep4CollegeNow.comTM was established for the specific purpose of creating awareness among parents and students that the sole purpose of a middle school and high school education in the 21st century is to ACHIEVE A COLLEGE EDUCATION. Indeed, while for many prior generations college was a privilege for the elite, today it is, in fact, a required part of basic education, without which a student has little skills to compete in society. College is part of the basic educational system; and as a result, it has become EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE.
Parents and students do not realize that everything the student does from 9th grade onward is, in fact, solely in prepration for entrance to college. EVERYTHING COUNTS. A few poor grades eliminates an entire class of possible colleges to attend. Failure to properly prepare for the SAT and/or ACT exams can also ruin a student's chance of being admitted to the college of his or her choice.
Prep4CollegeNow.comTM has created a program which prepares a student to be admitted to the college of his or her choice by identifying the student's goals and implementing a program to achieve those goals.
WE PREFER TO START AS EARLY AS MIDDLE SCHOOL. Ninth grade is treated by most students as a primer for high school. It is not. It is the first quarter of a long 4-year college entrance game. Just like a football game, if you fall too far behind in the first quarter, you may never catch up.
Methodology
Our administrators are college planning experts. Our affiliates are experts in their fields as well and have been chosen carefully to assist us in providing a complete program to your student.
Procedures
When a student enrolls at Prep4CollegeNow.comTM, a meeting takes place between the parents/guardians, student, and one of our administrators. The purpose of this meeting is to make sure everyone agrees on the goals to be achieved (both long and short-term) and what part each person must play in order to be successful.
An aptitude test or tests are then administered to help parent and student determine that the student's goals are consistent with their personality and skill levels. The program is then designed and administered.
Prep4CollegeNow.comTM program is designed to help your student hit the ground running in 9th grade. Our services are designed to build the student's college resume over a 4-year period.
Our services vary during each of the 4 high school years in order to provide only those services required in each such year, escalating as the time for apllication to college approaches. Our pricing follows this escalating approach.
